YAY! The list is out! I even took a break from work on Thursday morning to watch the announcement live. Lots of fun!

I am a little disappointed that a few of the movies I have already watched (Blitz, The Piano Lesson, Saturday Night) and a few that I wanted to watch (The Room Next Door, Queer, Heretic) did not make the list. I am also a little disappointed that A Real Pain did not get nominated for Best Picture. However, I am thrilled that Flow received 2 noms, and the Wild Robot and Sing Sing each received 3.

So, without further ado, the following grid shows all of the nominations for the main 2025 Oscar categories. Not included are documentaries and shorts. There are 30 movies on my list this year and so far, I have watched 14. Pretty good start. My usual goal is at least 80%, which is only 10 movies in the next 5 weeks. I can do that!
